Mr. Wright received his Bachelor of Arts Degree (cum laude) from Bob Jones University in 1978. He then earned his law degree from Southern Methodist University in 1981.

Mr. Wright was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 1981. He is also admitted in United States District Courts for the Northern District of Texas, Eastern District of Texas and Western District of Texas, as well as the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals and United States supreme Court.

Experience
Mr. Wright began his association with the predecessor firm to HSWGB as a second-year law student while at Southern Methodist University. He became a shareholder in 1987. Mr. Wright has broad experience in all chapters of the Bankruptcy Code. His practice is exclusively devoted to insolvency, reorganization and related areas, including extensive litigation in the bankruptcy court and other federal courts. Mr. Wright has been a bankruptcy trustee and has been counsel for parties involved in all facets of the bankruptcy process including debtors, creditors, landlords, creditors' committees, shareholders and third party purchasers. His representation has included a number of public companies and a variety of business enterprises involved in diverse areas of business including oil and gas, real estate, trucking, manufacturing, healthcare, waste management, and aviation. Mr. Wright's practice transcends the borders of Texas and has included matters in a number of bankruptcy courts throughout the United States.
