Education

Mr. Reifer received his Bachelors of Arts Degree, with honors, from the University of Texas in 1974. In 1980, he earned is Law Degree from Southwestern University. He earned his Master of Laws in Estate Planning in 1982 from the University of Miami in Miami , Florida.

Mr. Reifer has been admitted to the U.S. Tax Court.

Mr. Reifer was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 1980 and is also a member of the Dallas and American Bar Associations.

Professorships

Mr. Reifer has served as an Estate Planning Instructor in the SMU Certificate Program for Financial Planning (2010-) Graduate School of Business at the University of Dallas (January, 1995-), the Professional Development Institute at the University of North Texas (May, 1993-June 2010), and the Southeastern Paralegal Institute (June, 1992 - May, 1998). In 1979, Mr. Reifer served as a Judicial Law Clerk for Judge Jack Swink in the Probate Court of Los Angeles.

Mr. Reifer is an Accredited Estate Planner with the National Association of Estate Planners. Mr. Reifer was recognized as a "Texas Super Lawyer" in 2011 in the Trusts and Estates area of the law and was also selected as a "5 Star" Wealth Manager for 2010 and 2011.
