Education
Mr. Pearce graduated with honors from the University of Texas in 1980 and received his Juris Doctor from Southern Methodist University in 1983. He was admitted to the State Bar of Texas that same year.

Experience
Mr. Pearce does a broad spectrum of corporate/securities work for corporate entities, partnerships and individuals, and has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions in a number of industries. On the corporate side of Mr. Pearce's practice, he has represented clients in the development and marketing of low and high technology products as well as the sale and licensing of developed products. Mr. Pearce has extensive experience in federal and state securities regulation and represents issuers of public and private securities in a number of diverse areas such as energy exploration, manufacturing, and emerging technologies. His securities expertise extends to proxy solicitation, handling periodic public reporting and compliance matters for public corporations and partnerships. In Mr. Pearce's practice for his real estate clients, he represents a diverse group of commercial real estate entities involved in the acquisition and development of land, including the construction and financing of buildings, shopping centers, hotels and warehouse space. Mr. Pearce handles leasing transactions from both the landlord and tenant side.
