Mr. Brusilow graduated from Southern Methodist University in 1975, received his law degree from Southern Methodist University in 1978.

Mr. Brusilow was licensed by the State Bar of Texas in 1978. He is also licensed to practice in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas and before the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Mr. Brusilow is a member of the Dallas Bar Association, Real Estate and Corporate Counsel Sections.

Mr. Brusilow has been involved in many Dallas area community organizations, which include the Richardson Symphony Orchestra, the Dallas Can Academy and the Genesis Women's Shelter for battered and abused women.
Experience
Mr. Brusilow advises his business owner clients on day to day law-related issues, such as labor and employment law, non-competition and trade secret issues, employment contracts, hiring and termination issues, policies and procedures manuals and compliance with federal and state labor laws. Mr. Brusilow also has vast expertise in the area Intellectual Property rights, including extensive experience in copyright and trademark issues.
Mr. Brusilow's real estate practice is extensive, with experience in a wide variety of transactions representing developers, buyers, sellers and lenders. He has been responsible for all aspects of new and existing commercial projects, including office, multi-family, hotel, shopping center and residential developments. Mr. Brusilow counsels and assists in contract negotiation and documentation, due diligence analysis, financial analysis, zoning, construction, negotiation of financing documentation and other aspects of real estate development, including negotiation and documentation of commercial leases.
Mr. Brusilow is an experienced and licensed escrow officer. In connection with the firm's title company, he handles many of the firm's real estate clients who prefer to use the firm's title company to close their transactions. Through the firm's title company, Mr. Brusilow has closed many complex commercial transactions for clients.
