Mr. Brown received his J.D. from Southern Methodist University in 1988. He received his B.A. in Political Science in 1982 from the University of North Texas.

Worth Chapter President of the Turnaround Management Association, as well as being a Board Member and Membership Committee Member for this organization. He is also a Master in the John C. Ford American Inn of Court.

Shawn has represented debtors, creditors, trustees, creditors committees, asset purchasers, landlords, and other parties of interest in chapter 11 bankruptcy cases for over 13 years. Shawn has experience with all aspects of bankruptcy, insolvency, workout, debtor-creditor rights, and bankruptcy litigation. He serves as Bankruptcy trustee in chapter 7 and chapter 11 cases, and as a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Panel Trustee in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas, Fort Worth Division and Wichita Falls Division.
